Chicago Fire vs. Manchester United

Donita and Leonard joined us for the Manchester United vs. Chicago Fire game

at Soldier Field. It was the first time for any of us to visit the stadium.
Lucky for us, since it was a 90 degree day and our seats were in the sun, we
were on the club side and had access to the indoor area. Rion made it 1.5
minutes into the game before he wanted to go inside. His theory, why sit
inside when you can watch the tv from a comfy chair, in air conditioning? We
did make him go back out for the last 10 minutes of the game. Owen was a
trooper and made it through the whole game.
Before the game, we ventured into the city for lunch and had time to see a
few animals at Lincoln Park zoo. By the time we arrived at Soldier Field for
the sold out game, we had to park in a lot south of McCormick Place. It was
a very long walk, especially for Mike who ended up carrying Rion! - N

Manchester United won against the Fire cuz they switched goalies. That's why
they lost. And the Fire got one point and the other team got three. It was
3-1. The Fire was winning until they switched goalies. I eated inside and
watched the game from in the seats. And I watched them play how they were
doing and the Fire was losing. I went to the Chicago Bears stadium. It was
super far because we had to walk a long way. I went to the Manchester United
game and I saw Sparky on the field. I love Sparky because he looks super
cool like my dog does. My dog is cool but my dog's name is Parker. OK? So,

When we went to the Manchester United game versus the Chicago Fire I thought
it would be packed with Chicago Fire fans, but it actually wasn't. It was
packed with Manchester United fans because they are so good. They are from
England. At the game, the Fire were winning because somebody threw the ball
in, hit a Fire player's head, and scored a goal into the net. And, then the
second goal was from the Manchester United team. Wayne Rooney scored the
first goal. He kicked it up over the goalies head because the first goalie
for the Fire was a really good goalie and the goalie on the Manchester
United team, they scored a goal but it didn't count because they were off
sides. That was really lucky. And then the second goal, was when this guy
was standing. He shot the goal through the goalie's legs. And then the last
goal, the guy did the same thing as Rooney. He just popped it up over the
guy's head. That's it. And, when we were walking back to our car in this
McCormick Place. I saw this guy. My first name is Owen and my middle is
Michael. This guy had a shirt on and the back of his shirt said Owen. That
was his last name. His name is Michael Owen. That's my name backwards.
Leonita or Donard are Donita and Leonard. They are our grandparents. No,
they are our godparents. They came with us to the Manchester United game.
