Thanksgiving

We had turkey for Thanksgiving and we got to do the wishbone. And, we had

mac-n-cheese for Thanksgiving. We had stuffing, green bean casserole, we had
turkey. We had a star. We had a raspberry bar. We had a cheesecake. We had
sweet potatoes. I did not like any of the green stuff. I tried a new thing,
the sweet potatoes and I liked it. "We are truly thankful for the sun. We
are truly thankful for the moon so bright at night. We are truly thankful
for the stars so high in the night. We are truly thankful for the corn and
golden wheat. We are truly thankful for the pears and apples sweet. We are
truly thankful for the good food we eat. We are truly thankful for each new
day we have. We are truly thankful for each new hour and work and play. We
are truly thankful for God's blessing all the time. We are truly thankful."

For Thanksgiving we had turkey and like everything else you usually had at
thanksgiving. But our stuff we usually have is turkey, sweet potatoes, green
bean casserole, stuffing, desserts. I'll tell you our three desserts. The
three desserts are my cocoa crispies, Rion's lemon bars, and dad's pumpkin
cheesecake. It was the wishbone that wouldn't die. We couldn't crack the
wishbone so nobody got the wish for Thanksgiving. I'm going to tell you what
I'm thankful for - our family, my friends, and food. - Owen

Green Belt

I had two belt tests. I re-do my belt test and it was so quick. It was just

one karate class and you got your belt on the same time. And then, I didn't
go this week because of Thanksgiving. It is on Thanksgiving. I got a green
stripe belt. The teacher belts - black and then black two red, black three
red, black four red, black five red, and black six red. And then white, red,
red, red. That's the highest belt. - Rion Stufflebeam

Morning Kindergarten

I am in Owen’s kindergarten classroom. Owen was in this classroom. And they have clips not frogs. The clips mean like if you get to red you have to go to the thinking table. And, mostly not that many people went to red on my first day in there. Pretty much no one went to red. And, guess what. There was someone I know who went to the thinking table. My teacher is Mr. F-O-R-S. What does that spell? Mr. Fors. I know how to spell Fors. That’s it. – Rion S.

Church

I am in Sunday school. And I went to church and I get snack, like every day
only on Sundays. I think Sunday school is open this Sunday. I'm learning
about Sarah and Jesus. Sarah is a girl. She was 90 when she had her baby.
The baby laughed. I love Sunday school! - RiSt

At church, I go in the church. In the service we have to listen to a couple
of songs, we pray, and then the kids have to go up to the front of the room.
We talk about where you would wear the hats that are on all of the tables.
After that we went back to Sunday school and we had to go in the music room.
They were passing out skittles to whoever got the answer. I almost got one.
I was raising my hand but he didn't call on me. I like Sunday school because
I know three people - Robert, Macy, and Leon. I met Robert at the first day
but I knew Macy and Leon. - Owen

The Stufflebeam Christmas

Yesterday we went to our great aunt's house, Aunt Gayla, and our great

uncle's house, Great Uncle Marvin. They are my dad's aunt and uncle. When we
got to their house we went inside. The girls were having a present thing
where you got to steal presents and take them as your own. My brother helped
my mom and my mom got popcorn. And, my dad, he got beer. And, I got $10 a
stocking thing, a hex bug, it's like a little spider but you use a remote
control with it, and I got a gift card. After that, we went outside to roast
hotdogs. It was my first time actually roasting a hot dog. After we roasted
the hot dog, we went inside, I made a shirt, and I had dessert. After
dessert I had a s'more. I got to roast the marshmallow for it. After I ate
my s'more, we had 5 minutes left until I had to go home. So, me and Rion had
a war with the transformer and the hex bug. Rion won because his was way
bigger. Then it was time to go home. The end. - Owen

I went to my dad's aunt's and her name is Aunt Gayla. It was after Gee Gee's
party on the last day of it. I got make marshmallows. I ate two
marshmallows, plain, and one s'more, and I got a cookie and popcorn. They
have goats there. They've never had goats. Just about a day ago they got
goats, I don't know what day they got goats, but one day. Did you know that
I gave Aunt Gayla's dog two treats? A hot dog that wasn't made and two
treats. The cows she had last year, but now someone else has them and they
traded for goats. Guess what too? I even went to the country side. The end.

Gee Gee

On Friday we went to Peoria for something for Gee Gee. She’s our great grandma. She died and we were really sad. We got to see her in the coffin. After that, we went to a hotel. On Saturday, Mom and Dad and some of our other relatives and cousins went to the party and we were in a playroom there with Nate, Porscha, Parker, Jackson, and their sister. After the party the grownups went to the cemetery. And they saw GeeGee’s coffin by a big hole. And then, after that, we had lunch. The End. – Owen

GeeGee died. She was my dad’s grandma. And, my great grandma is her name, Gee Gee. And, she was in something like a box, I don’t know what that was called. Yesterday Gee Gee was in that box. That was the last day you could say good-bye to Gee Gee. The end. - RiSt

Piano Lessons

At piano lessons, my teacher's name is Hawk. We already know The Balloon

Man, The First March, and Old McDonald Had a Farm. Also, the Three Little
Pigs, and the Lamb Went to School. Piano lessons is really fun. We are going
this Tuesday and I have it on Tuesday. My teacher is really nice too. One
time, when I first got there, on my first lesson, my teacher was playing the
guitar. He's really good at piano. The end. - Owen

I had piano lessons. My teacher was named Jon and my brother's was named
Hawk. There was 88 keys on both of them. Mine was upstairs. It was no fair
because Owen got his downstairs. My big brother is Owen. And, he got
downstairs piano lessons. I like playing it, but sometimes I don't practice.
