Memphis Zoo

When we went to the Memphis Zoo we saw a dinosaur in like the first place

where you go in. Also, we got to see pandas. That was only one of the four
zoos in the whole United States of America that had pandas. The zoos were
San Diego zoo, Memphis zoo, Atlanta zoo, and um, I think it's Minnesota, but
I'm not sure about that one. (Rion - Washington DC, remember Owen. I remind
you.) Washington DC. It was very fun in the Memphis zoo. We saw lots of

animals including my favorite animal, the komodo dragon. And, there were a

lot of cool animals there. Well, I guess that's all I'll talk about that.

I went to the Memphis zoo and I saw my favorite animal. My favorite animal
is a panda. They had two pandas but they want three pandas. And if they had
a baby one the mother panda stays in with the baby until it gets 6 months
old. The baby goes to China. I know that pandas are my favorite animals
because black and white stripes. That is one of my favorite zoos. You know
why? Because, I got a stuffed animal little, baby panda and its name, I
named it Pandy. So, there was something that's really little and they went
in the water. I thought they got leaves, but it wasn't leaves. It was fish.
So, they had gorillas used to live there, then they moved in. Other animals,
like a duck were there, and a penguin, they had. My brother's favorite
animal was the komodo dragon. So, that's it for this story. From Rion

Florida

When we went to Florida we went to see a dolphin named Winter. She was in a

movie called Dolphin Tale. In Dolphin Tale, it was kind of funny. It's about
a dolphin who loses her tale and they have to make fake ones. And in Florida
we went to the strawberry patch and we got strawberry shortcake and
sandwiches. It was very good. And, we got to see our Grandpa. Our grandpa
lives in a place named Sun City Center and that place is where people over
65 go when they retire, if they want to. It's very fun in Sun City Center
and during when I was in Florida I helped my dad clean the gutters. I think

We drove to Florida but in one day. We went to Sun City Center and we sawed
our grandpa. His name is Grandpa Florida because he lives in Florida and he
hates snow. So, he goes to Florida when it's winter. He comes back when it's
summer. We went to Jesse's for my brother's birthday party, and bowling, and
we went to the strawberry patch, but not for his birthday. We went to the
swimming pool and we ate Oreos and we went to the bowling alley on my
brother's birthday. Guess who my brother is? O-w-e-n. And, his last name is
s-t-u-f-f-l-e-b-e-a-m. We saw manatees. They were really close to us and we
saw tadpoles there. I saw a teeny-weeny tadpole what swam away quick. It's
still in the manatees place. We went to the beach and guess what we saw. We
were looking and we saw something like a boat in deep, deep water, super
close to us. I walked super far up, like as far as a manatee can go, but 10
inches south, no not south. Mom- do you want me to tell you something? The
south pole is as far south as you can go. You can't go any farther than the
south pole. Mom, you actually can't. It's true. I heard it on the computer.
Florida is my favorite place because, one day when we went to the beach it
was my favorite day of the year that day, you know why. My mom let me take
my DS, but I left it in the car. You know why? I didn't want to get any sand
on it or break it.
Winter is a dolphin from Dolphin Tale. It's actually a real dolphin. He was
actually stuck in a crab trap and then a boy found him and then he called
people to take him to the marine hospital. Then, you know what? In the
movie, it said they had a hurricane, super windy, and knocked pretty much
everything down of the marine hospital. But the marine hospital didn't let
Winter get hit. And, that's from the movie, Winter. I sawed Winter but there
was really a so big line. Like 10 hundred people to get in. We sat in the
car until dad got pretty much up a little. I liked it because we saw a real
shark, we sawed a sea turtle, and that's it. His tail, I got to touch one.

Owen's Birthday

On my birthday I went bowling. I did very good. My final score was 86, I
think, and that's a really good score. My dad got pretty much better than
me, 112. And, my mom had 50, I think. Rion had 67 which is really good. And,
during my birthday it started raining when we were leaving and we got wet.
After that, in the night, I went to Jesse's. Jesse's is my favorite
restaurant in Florida. I especially love their prime rib but some other
things are good to. After that, we went home and had ice cream sandwiches,
big ones. They actually look like sandwiches. After that, we went swimming.
I swam for maybe 20 minutes and then we were done and had to go to bed.

Getting Ready for Christmas

When we were getting ready for Christmas we had to work a lot. Our work was

like putting stockings up and putting out all of the decorations. Getting
ready for Christmas was fun and also kind of hard. During the Christmas
season we baked muffins, and we made them paintable ornaments. That's all
about getting ready for Christmas. Now it's on to gingerbread houses. When
we made Gingerbread houses, I made a gummy bear castle. There was one
Christmas tree and a bunch of slides. And, there was a house for one of the
teddy bears, kind of like a dog house. It was very fun making them. Our
Uncle Nick supervised it. It was really fun making gingerbread houses. Well,
I guess that's it. This year when we made gingerbread houses we got cups to
put the candy in. The end. - Owen


I made muffins for my grandpa and for Christmas. The muffins I made for my
grandpa were for his birthday. And, I made the other ones were for Christmas
because they were for my whole family, but not in my house because we could
make then other time. I painted ornaments and wrapped presents but not in a
day, but not in days before Christmas and stuff. On Christmas eve, I think I
wrapped my brother's present. I think, but I'm not sure. I made gingerbread
houses with my uncle. He made us gingerbread houses. My brother and me got
gingerbread houses. My brother made a gummy bear house. I had a giant Santa
and I put a chimney on it. I decorated mine with gates and stuff like that.
And, I put Christmas trees. Really tasty stuff and that's all. From, Rion

Christmas

On Christmas day it was a church day, but we didn't go to church. Me and my

brother got a lot of presents including, a scooter, a lot of Lego sets, two
DS games, I think, and a lot of other stuff. On Christmas day I built three
of my Lego sets but there were like five. And, I played with some of my
things. Christmas day was very fun. Our presents were very fun. Well that's

On Christmas day I was the first kid up at my house. I saw lots of presents
and I saw presents in our stockings. Our stocking was full of stuff. It was
full. Santa even gave us a Santa house. I don't know why he gave us that
cause we just looked on the table and he gave it to us. I don't know why. I
got a 3D DS. It was fun cause I got Mario 3D land and I'm past the 3rd world
already and 4th. And, I'm stuck on the 5th world because that Bowser's
castle you need 50 star coins. I have like 30 something. It is close to
there. My brother got the Fire Temple. I don't think you know what that is.
It's from the Lego NinjaGo. I got like new Legos and stuff, a bobble head,
