Are they future railroad engineers? Owen and Rion designed and built the track all by themselves this time.
Year 3 - After a six month break, Rion and Owen are back to share pictures and stories from our crazy, busy life. Hope you enjoy!

Q&A with Mommy
Mommy: What have you gotten in trouble for lately? (Daddy assisted on the answers)
Rion: We got in trouble because we were running, and for touching my music, getting off my bed, hitting my brother, and not lying.
Owen: Lying, hitting my little brother, and lying to my little brother, kicking my brother, yelling at mommy & daddy, throwing things, whining and throwing a fit, running into my brother on purpose, throwing balls at my brother on purpose, playing baseball inside…
Mommy: What have you done that’s really good lately?
Rion: I played with Owen nicely. I was watching with Owen nicely upstairs.
Owen: Playing baseball outside not inside, not throwing stuff, not spilling milk, not stealing toys from Kindercare, not throwing food at Rion, and that’s pretty much what I wanted to say.
Mommy: What are you learning about at school?
Rion: Nothing. That’s hard. That’s hard to think about. I want to go second this time Mommy.
Owen: We are learning about Presidents. I’ve been learning about Presidents are people who approve the law and my favorite President is George Washington. Do you know why? Because he fought in Italy against a King and a Queen and he won.
Rion: I’m thinking about it still. OK?
Owen: Transportation?
Rion: No, bugs. We were talking about bugs last week. Now we’re talking about transportations.
Owen: What have you been learning about?
Mommy: Counting product different ways.
Mommy: What’s your favorite thing you ate last week?
Rion: Chicken nuggets
Owen: Noodles
Mommy: What’s your favorite thing you did last week?
Rion: Going to the museum today
Owen: Go to the Bulls game
Mommy: Last One. Tell me one thing you want to say to everyone reading your blog.
Rion: Nothing.
Mommy: That’s not very nice.
Rion: I like you. Not poop, or pee, or stupid, or nothing bad.
Owen: I love you.

Saturday Night Out
Mike and Owen spent last night at the Bulls game, while Rion and I had a movie night at home watching Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.-N
I went to the Bulls game and the Bulls won. The 76’ers got 90 points, but the Bulls got 118. And, I won the Dunkin Donut race with the coffee cup, the bagel, and the donut. I picked the coffee. And, I won a Big Mac cause the Bulls past 100 points. And, I got a bobble head of Derrick Rose. I liked the Bulls game because my dad let me have two ice creams. I ate a hot dog. – Owen

Sledding
Yesterday, Mike and I left work early and took the kids sledding for the first time. I don’t know who had more fun, the boys, or Mike. - N
We were sledding and we fell onto the snow. Daddy pushed me down. And, we were sledding, me and Daddy. You know what we were doing at daycare? We were playing ice skating. – Rion
Last night me and Rion went to a big hill. We were sledding and the third time I went down the hill I jumped! Sometimes we crashed into snow. I really like to go on the hill and Rion jumped a lot. So, Rion wants to go again. And, I like to sled. Done. - Owen

Rion's Story
Rion's been telling lots of stories lately. Here's one for you. - N
Me and Alex Papa were on the moon and we were rowing a boat up in the moon. And we fell down on to a different moon. And then we did spinning jumps. Done. - Rion
Cupid's Fun Fair
Last night we attended a fund raiser at Ardmore (Owen’s school) called Cupid’s Fun Fair. They had lots of games for the kids and we talked to some of the other parents. Kindergarten has been a big change for me versus daycare. With daycare, it’s been easy because the other parents work too. We got to know each other at pick up and drop off. With Kindergarten, Owen rides a bus, so I don’t have the chances to meet the other parents. I’ve met some through the classroom parties, etc., but it’s just not the same. - N
I like to do the cake walk. I won a prize from the cake walk. That's why I liked the Cupid's Fun Fair. I want to go to Cupid's Fun Fair again. It is a place where you can play lots of games. You can throw toilet paper in the toilets. It was in the gym of my school. - Owen
Rion
Rion’s so used to having to pull up his shorts/pants because he’s sneaking into the water, than he even pulled up his swim trunks.

For Those Older Than Six
Conversation of the morning -
Mommy: They (3CPO and R2D2) don't live in Hollywood, they live at the Star Wars place.
Owen: No, they are dead. They were born in 1975!
